This is Jenette’s first time doing the Beam, but it is definitely not her favorite event.  So here’s the deal...in order for us to get some light in the pictures, we have to sacrifice shutter speed.  The next set of pictures on the Dec 17th meet is the same way.  On the meet on Jan 9th we are going to try and flip it with trying to get clearer pictures for lower light, and try to tweak it in iPhoto.  Wish us luck!!
